Here's how it works:
Sketch the borders, bars, shapes and pictograms of your design on a sheet of paper, or create a layout using any design software. Then, designate colors, font sizes, symbols and pictogram locations with arrows and other indicators. A typical sketch is shown here.
 Next select up to four colors and indicate where you would like them placed on your label. Colors include: White, Black, Red, Green, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Magenta. In the example shown here the label was produced with blank yellow triangles. When the final label is made by the user's DuraLabel printer, the appropriate symbols are printed in the triangles,
Next, contact a DuraLabel representative with your completed sketch. Your design will be reviewed for custom printing. Just call 1-888-326-9244. Our customer service representative willl advise you on which DuraLabel supply type and size is ideal for your application.
A designer will turn your sketch into a professional design, and a proof of the label will be sent to you. Once you review and approve the design, a finished roll of  Custom Multi-Color Labels will be preprinted with your design and shipped directly to you.

Along with your multi-color supply you will receive a template. Copy it to your computer, fill in the blanks, and begin printing color labls with your DuraLabel printer.
Typical turn-around time is 5-7 days, although in emergenies we have designed, printed and shipped custom labels within 24 hours. (Extra charges may apply for express services.)
